Cane to Sugar
From Cane to Sugar
The journey of sugar begins in the fields and ends as refined crystals ready for consumption. At Vyankatesh Agro Products, we ensure that the sugar we supply is sourced from mills that follow efficient and hygienic processes from cane to final product.
- Cultivation of Sugarcane
Sugarcane is grown in fertile soil under suitable climatic conditions. It typically takes 10–18 months to mature before it is ready for harvesting.
- Harvesting
Once fully grown, sugarcane is cut and collected. Timely harvesting is important to maintain the sweetness and quality of the cane.
- Transportation to Mills
Freshly harvested cane is transported quickly to nearby sugar mills to prevent loss of sucrose content.
- Juice Extraction
At the mill, sugarcane is washed and crushed to extract juice. This juice is the primary raw material for sugar production.
- Purification
The extracted juice is cleaned and treated to remove impurities, ensuring a clear liquid for further processing.
- Concentration & Crystallization
The purified juice is heated and thickened into syrup, which is then processed to form sugar crystals.
- Separation & Drying
Sugar crystals are separated from molasses and dried to achieve the desired moisture level and texture.
- Packaging & Distribution
The final sugar is graded, packed, and supplied through a well-managed distribution network to traders, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Our Assurance
We work with trusted sugar mills to ensure that every step—from cane selection to final packaging—meets strict quality standards, delivering pure, consistent, and high-quality sugar to our customers.
